We are a grassroots advocacy organization that rallies community efforts to end homelessness in the Sioux Empire.

The Sioux Empire Homeless Coalition facilitates community-wide discussion and awareness; coordinates projects; and provides assessments of needs in the community.

We also have a speakers' bureau that can provide informative programs tailored to a group's needs and we provide tours for service-oriented education groups to learn about homelessness and poverty. We sponsor a conference and events during National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week the week before Thanksgiving.

We do two Project Connects in the fall and spring, a one-stop shopping mall for services for residents who are in need.

We advocate for people who are homeless and for safe affordable housing and adequate programs that lead to permanent housing. We seek to educate the public on the complexities of poverty and homelessness.
